The Rock Sings About Batman on SNL
By Skip Harvey
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is not only Black Adam in the upcoming SHAZAM! film, but he’s also entertaining the masses with comedy, song and dance on SNL. Johnson did a litany of superhero themed skits, including an Incredible Hulk-inspired President Obama and a musical monologue that talks about playing Bane in the Dark Knight franchise.
Check out the song in question:
"I’ll even play Bruce Wayne. You know what, Hell, I’ll even play Michael Caine."
Only time will tell if The Rock will go toe-to-toe with Batman in a later DCU film, as he’s hinted at. In all likelihood, unless they do some sort of Injustice Gang thing with all of their cinematic villains, Black Adam’s role in a Justice League film would be a cameo. Until then, all we have is The Rock’s numerous talents to entertain us all.
