Jaden Smith Explains the White Batman Suit

Jaden Smith is basically the boy in the bubble, in a weird way. Being the super rich son of Will Smith and Jade Pinkett-Smith and living in Hollywood seems to have insulated him from dealing with the real world in any serious way. That became more apparent when he wore a white Batsuit to both the wedding of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and his own high school prom. He photobombed guests, inserted himself into odd situations and seemed generally disconnected from everyone else. Now he’s finally explained why he wore the costume to GQ.

"I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so."

Huh. That’s a new one. The best part is that he may actually mean that. Obviously, the wedding of someone like Kanye West would be lax for security. Though that suit undoubtedly cost him some serious cash, he may never don it again. Been there, done that. Since it’s been rumored that he will star in a live action Static Shock TV show we may see him in an all together new one. Of course, there’s always the red carpet at the Suicide Squad premiere…
