7. Thanos

With all the conversation about Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet, people forget that even without the addition of the Infinity Gems, his strength is immense. We have to walk a line here with the Mad Titan because he has been known to augment his strength through cosmic means, and that keeps him from being ranked higher.

However, we’ve seen a normal Thanos go toe-to-toe with the Hulk, and he’s easily defeated both the Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill. At one point, Thanos was able to destroy an entire planet with only the strength of his blows. It will be interesting to see how strong he will be portrayed when he arrives in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
