I wanted to start this list off with an issue to hit you right in the feels. “Hero” is one of those stories that you don’t expect to see in a comic, and when it shows up, it hits you like a ton of bricks. No big ties to cosmic events or introduction of Marvel icons here. Just the story of a young boy with a hero, and how that can impact so many lives. I’m not going to drop any spoilers in here because this is one worth reading, but it does a nice job of touching on a lot of emotions any kid who loved or loves comics has probably felt. Plus, you get an appearance by the Beyonder, which is never a bad thing.
