Iron Deadpool

Some of good cosplay is getting the spirit of the character correct. This gentleman did exactly that with his “Iron Deadpool” costume, because let’s be honest, Deadpool would have clowned the Fantastic Four reboot just like many other people.

Now the idea of Deadpool in the classic red and gold Iron Man armor is a little scary, but hey, the guy is an Avenger now, with the approval of Steve Rogers and everything.

One other note here is that this is the kind of cosplay that would confuse the heck out of the general public. As an example, I wore a Deadpool mask while escorting my kids to go trick or treating last Halloween. I had many, many people stop me and say, “Hey Spider-Man!” and only one or two correctly identify me as the Merc With a Mouth. Non-fans simply wouldn’t get this outfit at all.
