Jessica Jones: Netflix Promotes The New Series
By Steve Lam
Rohan Patel of ComicBookMovies.com caught wind of Krysten Ritter sharing a pic of herself “accidentally” stumbling onto Netflix’s updated homepage which prominently featured the highly anticipated Jessica Jones.
I say “featured” (past tense) because the page has now been rotated out. However, Rohan was able to grab a couple of screenshots and also a promo video which can be found here.

Jessica Jones – Official Series Synopsis: Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.

Netflix’s Jessica Jones is set to premiere all episodes on Friday, November 20, 2015. The series was developed by Melissa Rosenberg, and will star Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Trish “Patsy” Walker, Carrie Anne Moss as Harper, Eka Darville as Malcolm, Erin Moriarty as Hope, and Wil Traval as an NYPD officer.
Jessica Jones is one of four Marvel/Netflix shows centered around street-level events taking place in New York. The other three are Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Like the cinematic universe, all four characters from each show will later converge together in a miniseries event called The Defenders — another superhero team akin to The Avengers.
