Gotham: Son Of Gotham Preview

Only two episodes left of Gotham before it’s long Winter break Gothamites, and episode 10, “Son Of Gotham” promises to set things in motion that will forever change Gotham and inhabits forever!

Here’s a synopsis of “Son Of Gotham”:

"Gordon (Ben McKenzie) confronts a suspect who is connected to Galavan (James Frain), but falls short of obtaining any information. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) gets one step closer to discovering the name of his parents’ killer."

Now the funny thing about that synopsis and the quick video promo we have for next week’s episode is that you can read the synopsis and watch the video and it looks like two different episodes. Nothing in the promo video suggests Gordon finding a key suspect or Bruce Wayne making any progress on the case of his parents’ killer. Just check out the promo video for yourself below:

I mean, does that even sound like it’s the same episode of Gotham as the one described in the synopsis? It looks like Theo Galavan somehow goes free, Gordon vows to get him. And Silver St. Cloud is kidnapped, most likely as part of ruse to trap Bruce Wayne.

There’s also a lot of questions from last week’s episode of Gotham that need to be answered. Will letting Flamingo live, knowing it led to the death of a fellow officer, drive Jim Gordon down an even darker path? Will Captain Barnes be able to keep him in line with the law he holds so dear? What will come of Edward Nygma’s and Penguin’s newfound friendship?

That’s in addition to the questions arising from this week’s promo. How in the blue hell did Theo Galavan get set free? What is his endgame for Gotham? If the kidnapping of Silver St. Cloud is a part of a plot against Bruce Wayne, will his friends be able to help him in time? We’ll just have to watch net week’s episode, Son Of Gotham this Monday on Fox to find out!
