Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 First Look: Coulson Has A Secret …
By Nick Tylwalk
Phil Coulson isn’t the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the comics like he is on TV, but he still knows a lot. Maybe too much, as it turns out.
Luckily, he has a great team around him, just like on Agents of SHIELD. This January, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 will bring us a brand new in-continuity series featuring Coulson, May, Fitz, Simmons, Quake, Mockingbird and Deathlok. Writer Marc Guggenheim (yes, the same guy who is executive producer of Arrow) and artist German Peralta are readying “a tale of espionage, action, intrigue, and danger.” All in one issue? Maybe!
This part sounds a little ominous, though:
"But have they met their match when a dark secret from Coulson’s past threatens to tear S.H.I.E.L.D. apart from the inside? What exactly are the “Coulson Protocols”? And what is Iron Man doing there?"
See? Man’s got secrets, no matter the form of media. Take a quick look at what awaits in this first look at Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1.
Look for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 in stores or on digital on January 13. Super-spy action, as you like it.
