Creating Alfred Pennyworth

Many will say that before Batman had Robin, his primary crime-fighting partner was Alfred.  However, “partner” may not be enough to describe the loyal butler.  Alfred has acted as mentor, parent, caretaker, and confidant to one of the greatest heroes in the world.  In the comics, his name is held in such high esteem that even the Justice League sees him as an equal.  In the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailers, Alfred can be seen sternly advising Bruce to not act brashly.
