He was so adamant in making a unique sound for the film that he partnered himself up with another musical genius — Junkie XL.

- Music composers Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL — whose real name is Tom Holkenborg — watched Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for the first time on April 7, 2015 in order to write the music for the film.
