In the comics, Wonder Woman earned her armor after winning a contest among her Amazonian sisters. In Hollywood, actress Gal Gadot won the right to wear the famous uniform with her talent and uncanny resemblance to the Goddess of Truth. This isn’t your father’s Wonder Woman anymore … or should I say “your mother’s”? DC’s, and probably the world’s, most famous female superhero gets a wardrobe update in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that fits her personality and purpose: a wise warrior princess.

- Other than the 1970s Wonder Woman television series starring Lynda Carter, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the first time Wonder Woman’s suit has been officially portrayed in live-action. Director Zack Snyder wanted the suit to represent immortality and being a fierce warrior.
