Agent Carter: First Pic Of Madame Masque Released

We’re getting tantalizingly close to the Agent Carter Season 2 premiere, and to get us even more psyched for a new batch of episodes in a new locale (Los Angeles instead of New York), TVLine ran a photo gallery today featuring all of the important characters.

Most of the faces are familiar, including Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as newly promoted Chief Daniel Sousa and even the villain you love to hate (or maybe the other way around), Bridget Regan as Dottie Underwood. But there are also some newcomers, none more intriguing than Whitney Frost, known in Marvel Comics as Madame Masque.

She’s played by Wynn Everett, and as you can see here, she gives off the same kind of non-threatening vibe as Dottie, though she also looks like she means business.

It’s also a mystery as to what her role will be. The producers have revealed that Frost will be an actress — a profession that could easily earn her the “Madame Masque” moniker — and that her husband will be a power player in the L.A. business scene. Until recently, her comic book counterpart had no powers but was good with a gun and technology, and those traits would be easy enough to carry over to TV.

Personally, I don’t care what they have her do as long as we see the creepy gold mask at some point. Look for Frost to make her presence felt as soon as the Agent Carter Season 2 premiere, which is coming up fast on January 19.
