Two New Batman v Superman TV Spots Unveiled

Take a look at two new TV commercials for Batman v Superman!

Two brand new TV spots for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice were released today, and they both offer footage we had not yet seen.  Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder released the first of the two commercials on his Twitter page this afternoon, and the second one was uploaded to Warner Bros. Pictures’ official YouTube channel.  Based on the hashtags in Snyder’s tweet, it appears as though at least the first commercial will air on television during this weekend’s NFL wild card games.

The first one features a scene that we had already seen glimpses of in the trailers, but now we can see a good 25 seconds of it.  Batman tries to ram the Batmobile into Superman, it skids off him, and then the context of Batman’s line “Tell me, do you bleed?  You will.” is revealed as Superman confronts Batman on the hood of the car.  Check the video out below:

The second TV spot takes us back to the conversation between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent that kicked off the new trailer from last month.  There’s a new line that wasn’t included in that trailer though.  When Clark says, “Civil liberties are being trampled on in your city.  The bat vigilante thinks he’s above the law,” we hear Bruce reply, “Don’t believe everything you hear, son.”  Take a look at the video right below:

Along with the Trinity finally standing side-by-side from that second trailer (which I still wish I hadn’t gotten to see until I am sitting in the theater), the Batmobile scene with Batman and Superman is my favorite footage of the film so far.  The Batmobile looks really cool in action, and then Ben Affleck delivers that “Do you bleed?” line perfectly.  Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on this new footage, and keep it locked to Caped Crusades for continuing coverage of Batman v Superman and for all your Batman news!
