Justice League Part One Release Date Officially Confirmed
Warner Bros. reconfirms release dates for it’s 2017 superhero films, Justice League Part One & Wonder Woman
We pretty much knew when the first Justice League and Wonder Woman movies were coming out,but now Warner Bros. has made it official with a press statement.
"Wonder Woman, the movie that’s been 75 years in the making, now has a theatrical release date and a brand new Facebook page. The movie, starring Gal Gadot in the title role of the Amazonian superheroine, is slated for release on June 23, 2017. Gadot says about the dream role: “We’re going to see her coming of age. The entire history.” You can also follow on Twitter for more #WonderWoman. In related news, another epic DC theatrical feature, Justice League, starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller, will be directed by Zack Snyder and is targeting a November 17 release next year as well."
Now of course, there is a lot of time between now and the release for both Wonder Woman and Justice League Part One, while these are confirmed release dates, they could easily change. Thought unlike say Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War, I don’t think any movies are direct competition in that same weekend these films are currently planned on, so barring any production problems, Justice League Part One and Wonder Woman should release as planned.

I’ve said it before, but I really have a problem with the order they are doing these movies in if they are in fact origin story movies. You build up to Justice League, not do a bunch of origin movies afterwards. Though granted, we don’t really know the plot of these films, so if it’s more akin to Batman v Superman, where Batman is already an accepted thing and it maybe touches on his origin just a bit that could work pretty well. We’ll just have to see if that’s the case as the DC universe continues to unfold.
