Nerd Block, ReedPOP Team For Limited Edition C2E2 Box

Nerd Block has one of the premier comic and pop culture merchandise subscription services around. ReedPOP produces some of the biggest comic and pop culture conventions in North America, including the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2). Sounds like there might be some synergy to harness there, doesn’t it?
The companies think so too, which is why they are teaming up for a limited edition C2E2 box. Thanks to the usual Nerd Block toys and collectibles, combined with a celebrity autograph and an exclusive t-shirt, it’s a way for people to get a taste of the show whether they’re able to make it to the Windy City this year or not.
“ReedPOP and Nerd Block both thrive on bringing exceptional experiences and value to fans around the world,” Nerd Block CEO Russ Montague said in a press release. “Since Nerd Block was founded on the idea of bringing the fun of conventions to the doorsteps of fans, it makes perfect sense to partner with ReedPOP, whose events have been inspirational to all of us here.”

The really intriguing news is that this is only the beginning of an ongoing collaboration between Nerd Block and ReedPOP, which produces some other huge shows each year as well. If you’re wondering if we’ll see Emerald City Comicon or New York Comic Con boxes, the answer is that both of those are in the plans.
Limited to just 2,500 boxes, the C2E2 Limited Edition Block promises eight collectibles and a fully licensed Marvel t-shirt by Shirt Punch. It’s more than $90 in retail value for $39.99, and is expected to ship so that fans get the box before the show.
