Toy Fair 2016: Funko Shows Off Captain America: Civil War Merch

With Captain America: Civil War hitting movie theaters in May, we’re right on the precipice of a merchandising onslaught starring Cap, Iron Man and the other Marvel heroes and villains who will be battling it out in that film. As you might expect, Funko is going to be a big part of it, bringing brand new versions of characters we’ve seen from them before and new characters who will be immortalized in vinyl form for the first time.
The Funko booth at Toy Fair 2016 in New York had multiple product lines represented, allowing for some fun photo ops and up-close looks at what many fans will be adding to their collections a few months from now. Bam Smack Pow was on hand and able to get up close and personal with lots of fun stuff.
Let’s start with the most popular and well-known line …
Captain America: Civil War Pop Vinyl
The full line of Pop Vinyl figures for Captain America: Civil War was on display at Toy Fair, including the impressively detailed bobble-heads for Crossbones and Black Panther. The full roster announced so far includes:
- Black Panther
- Black Widow
- Agent 13
- Captain America
- Iron Man
- Crossbones
- Scarlet Witch
- Winter Soldier
- War Machine
Several retailer exclusives are also on the way, though those were not on hand at the Javits Center. The other piece to look for is a 6-inch Giant-Man Pop, a tribute to perhaps the worst-kept secret about Civil War so far. Speaking of non-secrets, no Spider-Man yet, but it wouldn’t be wise to bet against that once Marvel reveals the new design for the Tom Holland wall-crawler to the world.
