Caped Crusades seeks new writers, Batman fans

Caped Crusades has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for all things Batman coverage dating back to when the site was first launched in early 2014. The Dark Knight have seen many changes over the years, and the staff here on site has been there through it all. The constant has always been our goal here on site: to give you folks, our readers, the very best Batman discussion that we possibly can.

Currently, we are getting amped for the upcoming release of Dawn of Justice, and the other upcoming DCU film releases will have us stoked for some time. That says nothing of the ongoing adventures of Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and the rest of the Gotham Gang in the comics and other media.

Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other Batman sites with regularity and ever wonder if you should write about the team too? Maybe you’re just stumbling across us for the first time and you like what you see. We are looking to add to our staff here on site and this could be your chance to join the team.

Caped Crusades is currently looking to fill multiple roles on site, including multiple staff writer roles for the more casual writers just getting their legs under them and a paid co-expert to help throw up the bat signal on a daily basis.

Expectations

We like to let our staff write about the aspects of The Dark Knight they are most passionate about. There’s room for those interested in covering any aspect of Batman. Maybe you’re more of a retro fan, and love the old Batman detective stories. Maybe you’re a film junkie who wants to talk films. Perhaps you are an avid toy collector and want to spill the beans on the latest collectible releases. There is room for all of it at Caped Crusades.

Staff writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.

Co-Experts are asked to contribute quite a bit more, becoming an almost daily touter of all things Dark Knight related, in addition to other site management responsibilities.

We know that for most this is mostly a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance into our lives as well (there’s room for things besides sports, right?). This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about Batman as we are and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.
