Toy Fair 2016: Funko Marvel Pop Vinyl, Dorbz And More

Funko Marvel Pop Plush

As the name suggests, Pop Plush are plush toys done in the style of Pop figures. It’s a brand new product for Funko, which is going in relatively lightly with just three Marvel characters to start: Loki, Spider-Gwen and Deadpool.

Pop Plush will come in both 6″ and 12″ sizes, and a Funko representative said that they probably will only be tagged, not packaged in any way. Even the 6″ plush are bigger than Mopeez, so these should fill a niche that so far has been empty for people looking for softer versions of Pop characters.

Funko Marvel Pop Home: Mugs and Pens

Anyone who subscribes to Funko’s Smuggler’s Bounty program has already seen the Pop Home ceramic mugs, which are very nice quality when you get to hold them in person. Marvel will be a big part of the initial assortment, with seven characters in all: Captain America, Spider-Man, Hulk, Deadpool, Iron Man, Rocket Raccoon and Groot.

Funko is also going all out with pens that come with tiny Pop-style pen toppers across a range of IPs. Marvel gets Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk pens, along with Deadpool in three different colors.

Not pictured here are two sets of Marvel salt and peppers shakers, one that pairs Spider-Man with Black Suit Spider-Man (you can pretend it’s Venom, if you wish) and another that sees Captain America and Iron Man together. Last but not least is a series of collectible buttons, which will be sold in blind packaging, and the expansion of Marvel Pop Tees, which used to be exclusive to Hot Topic, to more retailers this year.
