Daredevil: New Promo Shows The Man Without Fear In Chains

Without skipping a beat from the world premiere of the full-length trailer for Daredevil Season 2, Netflix releases another promo — this time with the Man Without Fear in chains.  The release of the promo, via a tweet, only had one message attached to it: “Battle lines have been drawn.”  We’re presuming that our blind vigilante was put in this predicament by the Punisher himself.

Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil is being executive produced by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, replacing previous showrunner Steven S. DeKnight.  Both Petrie and Ramirez also served as writers for the first season.  Returning cast members include Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggie” Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.  New additions to Season 2 include Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / The Punisher, Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios, and Stephen Rider as Blake Tower.  Guest stars will include Scott Glenn as Stick and Peter McRobbie as Lantom.  Bullseye is also slated to appear, but has not been cast yet.

Daredevil is one of four Marvel/Netflix shows centered around events taking place in Hell’s Kitchen.  The other three will be Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones.  Like the cinematic universe, all four characters from each show will later converge together in a miniseries event called The Defenders — another superhero team akin to The Avengers.

All episodes of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 are set to premiere on Friday, March 18, 2016 on Netflix.
