The Justice League: Zack Snyder Teases Costumes
By Steve Lam
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hasn’t even been released yet and director Zack Snyder has already begun work for The Justice League Part One. If this is not a man on a mission, I don’t know who is. Snyder — in his continuing efforts to keep fans updated on one of the most highly anticipated cinematic universes — has tweeted a picture of him with Aquaman actor Jason Momoa. Both seem pretty darn happy to be at work. I mean, who wouldn’t be? You’re basically living out your childhood dreams at this point.
The key things to pay attention to are not what’s in the foreground, but what’s in the background: notice The Flash’s costume, Aquaman’s updated costume, and a picture of Mera — Aquaman’s wife. We’re not finished yet. Many are speculating that the black-colored costume could be Nightwing’s!
Fans can get their first glimpses of a proto-Justice League when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice releases next month on March 25, 2016.
The Justice League Part One has a United States release date of November 17, 2017 and is set to start filming on April 11, 2016 in London and Iceland. It will be directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio, and will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone / Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Amber Heard as Mera.
