Gotham Season 2, Episode 14 Synopsis: “Wrath Of The Villains: The Ball Of Mud And Meanness”

“A Dead Man Feels No Cold” gave us the full transformation of Victor Fries into Mr. Freeze. It also showed more of Hugo Strange’s motivations and his ability to manipulate situations. So will we get more Strange and Freeze this coming Monday? Maybe, but the concentration will be on Bruce Wayne — oh yeah, that

In “A Dead Man Feels No Cold”, Bruce asked Selina to help him get a gun for the purposes of finding and killing Matches Malone — supposedly the man responsible for his parents’ murders. Selina, even with her pessimism, warned Bruce that killing a person would forever change him.

Wait until Alfred finds out about this. In the same episode, Alfred — who’s not against killing Malone mind you — forced Bruce to make a promise: if they do find the murderer, Alfred will be the one to kill him. Wow, this is one hardcore Alfred. Now I’m wondering where Batman will actually develop his code of ethics. Oh well, this is Gotham so maybe the writers are giving us the 1930s – 1940s Batman, where the guy had no problem killing his enemies.

This week, we’ll be getting some more #Brulina adventures when they go into the darkest reaches of Gotham City to find Matches Malone. Here’s the official synopsis for “Wrath of the Villains: The Ball of Mud and Madness”:

"Alfred and Selina help Bruce on his quest to find his parents’ killer, Matches Malone (guest star Michael Bowen). Meanwhile, Gordon follows up with Edward Nygma on Kristen Kringle’s whereabouts and Hugo Strange (guest star BD Wong) continues his treatment to reduce Penguin’s aggression."
