The Flash Season 2, Episode 16 Synopsis: “Trajectory”
By Steve Lam
It’s been almost a month since we last saw the Scarlet Speedster in a new adventure. Flashers Flash-fans (okay, I should probably say things out loud before typing them) will be happy to know that The Flash returns with new episodes this week starting with “Trajectory.”

It seems that we have a new speedster in town, and she’s really crimping on Barry’s game. Actually, she’s doing more than just getting in the way. Because she’s using her powers to break the law, the citizens of Central City now think the Flash has gone rogue. It’s another speedster versus speedster episode.
Speaking of multiple speedsters, no one has forgotten that gut-punch of a reveal at the end of “King Shark.” We’ll just have to wait and see if “Trajectory” will address any of those final moments. Or will it give this whole Zoom ordeal a temporary rest. Fans
want
need to know! Here’s the official synopsis for “Trajectory”:
"THERE IS A NEW SPEEDSTER IN CENTRAL CITY; WILL THE FLASH BE ABLE TO KEEP UP? – Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good. Iris (Candice Patton) is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (guest star Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Lauren Certo and Lilah Vandenburgh."
And, of course, the exciting promo for the episode:
The Flash airs on The CW on Tuesdays at 8:00PM EST.
And might we suggest checking out a new edition of The Flash After Show from theStream.tv? Hosts Adam Kruger, Devon Stewart, Carolina Bonetti and Jack Hind will be ready to dive into this episode at 9:15PM EST on Tuesday night, incorporating user questions tweeted to them with the hashtag #TheFlashAS. Don’t miss it!
