Arrow Season 4, Episode 16 Synopsis: “Broken Hearts”
By Steve Lam
Arrow returns this week with all new episodes starting with “Broken Hearts.” It looks like our favorite stalker, Cupid, has returned. However, she’s really not embracing love all that much, as she’s resorted to doing the opposite of what a cupid does. She’s actually killing couples who are in love.

Normally, this would be Green Arrow to the rescue, but this sociopath needs to be drawn out into the open. How do you do that? Oliver and Felicity will have to pretend that they’re getting married. We all saw what happened at the end of “Taken,” where Felicity took her engagement ring off and literally walked out on Oliver. Could this fake wedding be what was seen in various flash-forward shots?
And what about Malcom’s tearing down of all that good faith built up with Oliver. You know, that whole situation pertaining to taking Ollie’s son and all. Knowing Oliver, he’s going to go after Malcolm hard and fast. And this time, Thea just might join her big brother because she’s really sick of her father’s incessant lying. Here’s the official synopsis for “Broken Hearts”:
"CUPID RETURNS TO WREAK HAVOC ON STAR CITY – A heartbroken Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) returns to Star City with one goal – to destroy anyone in love. The team learns she’s killing couples on their wedding day so Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to pose as bait."
And, of course, the exciting promo for the episode:
Arrow airs on The CW on Wednesdays at 8:00PM EST.
