First Clip From Justice League Vs. Teen Titans Released

Warner Bros. Animation has released the first clip from the forthcoming Justice League vs. Teen Titans animated movie.

Later this month DC Universe Original Movies and Warner Bros. Animation will release their latest movie, Justcie League vs. Teen Titans. The film sees the teenage heroes of the Teen Titans facing off against the members of the Justice League. The reason for that is Trigon, who has taken over the minds of the League. Did we mention that he happens to be the father of Titan member Raven?

The story, like most of DC’s animated offerings, is loosely based on an existing storyline, in this case the original Trigon Saga from the early days of Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s run on The New Teen Titans.

The film is directed by Sam Liu from a screenplay is by comic book writers Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burnett. The voice cast includes Jason O’Mara as Batman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jon Bernthal as Trigon, Shemar Moore as Cyborg as well as Sean Maher, Christopher Gorham, Kari Wahlgren.

Now DC has released the first clip from the film, which shows the Justice League trying to deal with the Weather Wizard after he has been possessed by Trigon.

Very cool stuff in my opinion.

The trailer, which was released last month, also features some pretty awesome animation and even more footage from the film.

What I love the most about these direct-to-video releases DC does is that each one stands on its own. No need to watch a ton of other stuff to enjoy the movie, you can just watch for an hour and a half and have a great time.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on April 12, 2016.
