A pair of new teasers for “Dead No More” seem to indicate that a character from Spider-Man’s past may be making a comeback.

It would seem that if you are reading books from Marvel Comics this fall, there is going to be a lot of stories involving death.

Last week Marvel teased something called “Death of X” that seemed to indicate that something bad was going to happen to someone involved with the X-Men. Now it would seem that the opposite is going to happen to a member of Spider-Man’s supporting cast who is no longer with us.

Today Marvel released a pair of teasers for something called “Dead No More” featuring a number of deceased Spider-Man cast members, including Uncle Ben, Jean DeWolff, George Stacy and more on one. The other shows Spider-Man fighting what looks for all the world like an advanced version of the arms of Doctor Octopus. The only other information was the date of Fall 2016.

An earlier teaser for the same event included the following description:

"“If you got a chance to bring back someone who died, would you? And how will CLASSIFIED deal when ones they thought long dead once again walk the earth?”"

Could this mean the official return of Doc Ock, who was revealed to be alive in the first issue of the new Amazing Spider-Man series? Or something else entirely?
