Arrow Season 4, Episode 17 Synopsis: “Beacon Of Hope”

A villain from The Flash buzzes over to Arrow in this week’s “Beacon of Hope.” Yep, the Bug-Eyed Bandit, Brie Larvan, is back and she wants something of Felicity’s really bad.

Speaking of Felicity, on last week’s “Broken Hearts” episode, Ollie and his bride-to-be officially called it quits. How many of you think that was a clean break, or will they draw this out like a long soap opera?
I, for one, was much more interested in the Damien Darhk part of the episode. And what about that ring that he hid in his mouth — which I find to be very hard to believe that the prison officials didn’t confiscate. Not that I’ve been to prison, but I’m sure they do a full inspection before leading you to your cell. Oh well, television logic at its finest. Whatever can advance the plot I guess.
Anyways, back to the ring. It seems like it could be another totem. Will we be seeing Darhk back to his “force-choke” ways soon? The wait for that answer won’t be long because Arrow will air its newest episode tomorrow. Here’s the official synopsis for “Beacon of Hope”:
"Brie Larvan breaks out of jail and turns up at Palmer Tech threatening to kill everyone unless she gets the bio-chip that is implanted in Felicity’s spine. When Oliver realizes that Felicity, Thea and Donna are trapped in Palmer Tech with everyone else, he looks to a surprising ally to help Team Arrow save the day."
