Watchdogs” was one of those episodes that takes our current political climate and mirrors them in the world of fiction. It was a rather smart episode in that the extremist group themselves were unknowingly used as a puppet in Hydra’s plans.

This week, we’re probably going to get a look at what a Hydra-controlled future just might look like. I’m sure this episode was planned long before the writers saw Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but this sounds a lot like Bruce Wayne’s dream. I’m confident that Marvel won’t be introducing anything that’s not pertinent to the plot … yes, I’m looking at you DC. I’m a total fan of yours, but your entry into the Justice League really needed a few more drafts and editing.

Okay, I digress. Back to Agents of SHIELD, we also saw a revitalized Ward/Hive having a meal with Malick. Question: Why do all bad guys have to have that John-Woo-trenchcoat-flapping-in-the-wind entrance? Aside from that cliché, I hope to see a bit more of Hive this week and find out what his ultimate plan is … or at least get some glimmer of it. Here’s the official synopsis for “Spacetime”:

"When Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) gets a horrifying glimpse of the future, S.H.I.E.L.D. races to prove that fate is not fixed.Guest starring are Blair Underwood as Andrew Garner, Matthew Willig as Lash, Powers Boothe as Gideon Malick, Mark Dacascos as Giyera, Alexander Wraith as Agent Anderson, Bjorn Johnson as Charles Hinton, Wolfgang Bodison as Edwin Abbott, Lola Glaudini as Polly Hinton, Markus Flanagan as Rowan Hamilton, Scott Broderick as officer, Matt Ferrucci as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and Andrew Thacher as Rowan lawyer #1."
