Batman Heavily Featured In Suicide Squad?
The Dark Knight may be a bigger part of Suicide Squad than we thought
Well Batman v Superman is out in theaters, and we are just a little under 4 months away from the next entry in the DC movie universe, Suicide Squad! Suicide Squad of course features the worst of the worst, some of the deadliest villains in the DC universe forced to team up on an incredibly dangerous mission. A lot of them are primary enemies of Batman, it is not a huge surprise that Batman will be in the film. We’ve actually seen leaked and trailer footage of him involved in a car chase with Joker and Harley Quinn. But as he’s not the focus of the film, he’s probably barely in the movie, right?
Not true according to Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood. He claims that early screenings of Suicide Squad are going on right now, and according to him, there’s a lot more Batman in Suicide Squad than you would be led to believe in the trailer.

Now of course, this is pure rumor, but Gonzalez has a pretty solid track record (he correctly scooped Scoot McNairy’s true role in Batman v Superman well before the movie was out) and certainly seems plausible. But this is would obviously be very early test screenings of Suicide Squad and a lot could change between now and when the film actually comes out. For example, they are doing several weeks worth of reshoots right now to add more action according to Jai Courtney. Will that affect the amount of Batman in the film? Also, does Suicide Squad take place before or after the events of Batman v Superman, and will that affect the movie in some way? We’ll find out for sure when Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th.
