Margot Robbie Wants To Play Harley Quinn As Long As She Can
Margot Robbie plans on playing DC’s most popular female character, Harley Quinn, for a long time
This August, moviegoers will see iconic DC female character Harley Quinn on the big screen for the first time in Suicide Squad, played by up and coming actress Margot Robbie. Before the movie is even out, Harley Quinn (and by extension Robbie) seems to already be primed to be one of the breakout characters of the movie, and Warner Bros. probably has big plans for the character should Suicide Squad prove to be a success.
But often actors don’t really like getting locked into one character for too long, even it is a mega-successful one. So would Margot Robbie want to continue the role of Harley Quinn for the forseeable future?
"Yeah, I’m so not done playing her yet.I will do whatever I can to keep playing Harley for another couple of years. Until my body gives out and I can’t do it anymore."

So that answers that. Margot Robbie wants to be Harley Quinn until she’s no longer able. Which is awesome. Of course, she is still pretty young, she could potentially play the character for a decade or more. And hey, we have older guys just starting their run as comic book characters, assuming she’s willing and able, maybe Margot Robbie could inhabit the role of Harley Quinn for even a couple decades plus. It would be great to see her grow and change much like her comic book character has over the years and have the same actress there for all of it. If nothing else, we need a solo Harley Quinn movie somewhere down the line and personally, I’d love to see a live action Batman Beyond film sometime in the future with a cameo by “Nana Harley”
See hopefully the first of many appearances of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn when Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th.
