Agents Of SHIELD Season 3, Episode 17 Synopsis: “The Team”

In “Paradise Lost” on last week’s Agents of SHIELD, we learned a shameful secret about Gideon Malick’s past — the betrayal of his own brother. That past came back to haunt him and Hive taught him a lesson about personal sacrifice by killing Malick’s own daughter, Stephanie.

As for our agents, they went on the hunt for Giyera. The mission was a success, but Giyera was able to escape his cell and wreak havoc on Zephyr One, before taking it over and forcing a landing at a Hydra base. Luckily, both Daisy and Lincoln heard May’s distress call, prompting the two to assemble the fledgling Secret Warriors.

This week on Agents of SHIELD, we’re going to see Daisy and her new team mount a rescue mission to save their fellow agents from the clutches of Hydra. Hey, there’s no better method of learning than jumping right into the deep end. So get ready to see the Secret Warriors in some awesome Inhuman action. If I had to make a guess about how the team will function, they may not stray that far from the rough edges the Avengers had to endure in that team’s first outing. Here’s the official synopsis for “The Team”:

"Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) must call upon the Secret Warriors for an inaugural mission that will leave no member unscathed, and S.H.I.E.L.D. learns more about Hive’s powers, forcing them to question everyone they trust."
