Batman Arkham HD Collection Leaked?
The Batman Arkham HD collection might finally be coming our way this summer
The Batman Arkham games are easily one of the best series of games of all time, marking high points in both superhero video games and action/adventure games in general. Providing not only great gameplay, but insanely awesome fanservice as well.
There’s been a rumor running for a long time now that the previous Batman Arkham games (but not Arkham Knight) would be showing up on shelves in a remastered package for the newest generation of consoles, PS4 & Xbox One. It makes a lot of sense as the games are massively popular and though the amount has died down, HD remasters are still a very big part of this generation of gaming. In fact, it was heavily rumored a Batman Arkham collection would be releasing around the same time as Batman v Superman, in order to capitalize on the release of the film with a game in some form, but obviously since Batman v Superman has been out for weeks now with no such collection on the shelves, that wasn’t the case.
According to this, the Batman Arkham Remaster goes up for pre-order April 19th (that’s tomorrow), releases on June 10th, and includes the two Rocksteady Arkham games from the previous generation, Asylum & City and all their DLC with “optimized visuals”, but not WB Montreal offshoot Arkham Origins, which wasn’t terrible, but certainly the weakest entry in the series.

I would certainly be interested to see what the Batman Arkham games would look like with “optimized visuals”, because I remember them looking excellent. I would also really like to see if they still hold up just as well, because I honestly haven’t played either since beating them right after they came out. We’ll obvious update on the story if it becomes official, and most likely a review when the Batman Arkham HD Collection comes out.
