Heroes Will Unite On Gotham
David Mazouz teases a hero team up on Gotham!
Gotham may not have much in the way of costumed heroes yet, but it does have its fair share of heroic characters. Bruce Wayne, James Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Alfred, Captain Barnes, maybe even Selina Kyle on occasion. But while these heroes have teamed up on Gotham in some limited capacity, they haven’t really all worked together as of yet. But Gotham star David Mazouz hints that the time is coming soon for these heroes to all work together.
"I think when Bruce comes back from being on the streets there’s going to be a new major bad guy at the end of the season, who is starting to emerge. And because of that, all the characters are going to be sucked in and involved in some way. It’s incredible."
A new big bad? So that means that Hugo Strange isn’t the final big bad of this season of Gotham. Would it be someone who is probably coming back like Jerome or Fish Mooney? Maybe it is one of the villains who has been teased for season two but has yet to appear like The Mad Hatter or Clayface? Who would require all the various heroes of Gotham to work together? Is Ra’s Al Ghul going to make an appearance? He is centuries old, there is no reason he and the League of Assassins couldn’t pop up in Gotham while Bruce is still a young man. Maybe it is even the Court of Owls, who is a more recent foe of Batman in the comics but have been secretly running things behind the scenes since Gotham’s foundation! And it sounds like it could carry over into season 3. One thing is for sure, the best way to find out is to keep watching Gotham’s final run of episodes for season 2 on Fox Mondays!
