Spencer’s Goes Forever Evil With DC Comics Villains

Spencer’s is celebrating some of the most popular villains from DC Comics with a line of Forever Evil merchandise.

Bring on the bad guys! That’s what Spencer’s is doing right now with its “Forever Evil” line. Sharing a name with a memorable crossover event from DC Comics, the line includes some of the company’s most popular villains, including the Joker, Harley Quinn and the Reverse-Flash.

Bam Smack Pow had a chance to get our hands on a number of the products, all of which are available at Spencer’s Online and in Spencer’s stores. Let’s get evil …

T-Shirts

The selection of Forever Evil tees includes shirts for Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Reverse-Flash (New 52 version), Bizarro and the Joker. Each one is a slightly different color and includes a character image plus a unique font. There’s also this writer’s personal favorite, a black tee with five different villains on it.

The font for each bad guy (or girl, sorry Harley!) is a unifying element between all of the products, but the shirts match up especially well with the next item …

Snapback Hats

These sharp-looking snapbacks feature a black crown with the villain’s name along with a full color graphic on the brim. Harley Quinn’s hat is a bit different, as it features a juxtaposition of the Batman and Harley Quinn logos on the crown with her picture on the underside of the brim.

While undoubtedly cool, be aware that if you have a big head like this writer (size 7 3/4), these snapbacks might be a tight fit even at the very last snap.

Wallets

These are exactly what they look like: bifold wallets with a character image and name. They have an ID slot and four credit card pockets on the inside, along with the Forever Evil logo.

One nice touch is that the character names are embroidered on the outside, along with some contrast stitching. The Reverse-Flash wallet, for instance, has a yellow loghtning bolt across its outside.

This reviewer’s seven-year old son gravitated to these right away, so these might be a hit with the superhero-loving kids in your life.

Socks and Accessories

Also potential kid magnets — along with being the most impressive visual items in the entire line — are these Forever Evil socks. They have the Forever Evil logo on the bottoms of the soles and really vivid graphics on both the front and back. Even cooler, the images stretch across both socks to make a unified whole.

Last but not least are several different types of accessories, including iPhone 6 cases, keychains and lanyards, the last of which include a collectible sticker. The keychains stand out of this bunch thanks to their unique shapes and solid feel.

We can’t guarantee it, but our batch of Forever Evil merchandise arrived in a box full of police caution tape and some hand-written notes that mostly just had the word “Ha!” on them. That could mean the Joker has our address, which would probably be a bad thing.

We’ll have to make sure we have Batman on speed dial. While not part of the Forever Evil collection, Spencer’s also is showing off some Suicide Squad t-shirt to get ready for the movie’s release later this year, and they’re pretty awesome as well:

Nothing in the Forever Evil collection costs more than $24.99, so this is affordable stuff, and you can get free shipping right now with the code “SHIP30” for orders over $30. Might be wise to stock up on villains merch now so you can fool them into thinking you’re on their side if the need arises. Plus the DC Comics bad guys are cool too.

Disclosure: Bam Smack Pow was provided with free samples of some of the items shown above for review purposes.
