Jesse Eisenberg Will Probably Never See Batman v Superman
Jesse Eisenberg hasn’t seen Batman v Superman, but still has some opinions about it
One of the more controversial things (among many) of Batman v Superman was Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal of LexCorp CEO Alexander Luthor Jr. Instead of the cool, cold and calculating Lex we usually see in comics, this Lex Luthor seemed unhinged, making many compare him to the Joker or The Riddler and left many wondering if indeed this was really even THE Lex Luthor, or just some dude who shared a similar name and therefore was never supposed to be like the Luthor everyone was expecting in the first place.
Well, you think the actor who played Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman, Jesse Eisenberg, might have an explanation/defense of his performance, and he does, but oddly enough he hasn’t actually seen Batman v Superman, and likely never will.
In an interview with MTV, Eisenberg says there were “certain editorial choices” he wasn’t made aware of, which speaks to the criticism many had about Batman v Superman’s overall poor editing choices. He does say he would like to return to the role however, so we may see Eisenberg’s manic take on Lex yet again.
As to why Eisenberg hasn’t seen Batman v Superman? Well, it’s pretty simple. Eisenberg just doesn’t lie watching himself in anything. It’s actually fairly common among actors because hey, it’s probably weird seeing yourself perform. You can hear him talk about the last time he watched one of his own movies in the interview below:

So really, it’s not that surprising that Jesse Eisenberg hasn’t and most likely won’t ever see Batman v Superman. As for him coming back? I mean maybe if Man of Steel 2 ever gets made, but I don’t really see that happening, as interest in Superman seems pretty low at the moment. Batman v Superman is in theaters now.
