Batman v Superman represents a lot of historic firsts. The first time Batman and Superman are in a movie together of course, but also the first time Wonder Woman, one of DC’s most popular characters has been in a theatrical release in her over 70 years of existence.

So it is a pretty historic moment, and one that most people, whether they loved or hated Batman v Superman, agreed that Wonder Woman was easily one of the best parts of the movie. Now her alter ego, Diana Prince, pops up fairly early on the film, engaging in a bit of high tech cat and mouse with Bruce Wayne. But she doesn’t really reveal herself as the amazon warrior Wonder Woman until the very end of the film. But with that short amount of time, she makes one hell of an impression, which is why she one of the big positive talking points of Batman v Superman, and why everyone is still pretty excited for a Wonder Woman solo film next year.

Japan has actually gone ahead and released the clip of when Wonder Woman actually first shows up in Batman v Superman, and quite awesomely, saves Batman’s but from being fried b Doomsday. Wonder Woman was definitely one of the highlights of Batman v Superman on top of being a very historic moment. It’s too bad she’s really only in the film for such a small amount of time, as I think more Wonder Woman would’ve improved the film immensely. Batman v Superman is in theaters now.
