This week on The Flash, Earth-2’s Rupture visits Earth-1 seeking revenge for the death of his brother, Reverb.

“Back to Normal” had Barry trudging through life after losing his speed to Zoom. What made matters worse was Harrison being kidnapped by a meta-human, Griffin Grey. Without his powers, Barry now had to find a creative way to save his friend.

More from TV

Afraid that Zoom would be going after Jesse, Harrison embarked on a journey to find and bring his daughter back to STAR Labs. Although Harrison found her, Jesse was adamant in not going back with her father. Traveling home alone, Harrison was attacked and abducted by Griffin Grey — a meta-human with immense strength that came at a price of rapid aging.

Harrison later learns that Griffin believes him to be the Earth-1 Harrison. Because Earth-1 Harrison built the particle accelerator that exploded, that Harrison was responsible for his current condition. Griffin wanted Harrison to cure him from his rapid aging. Griffin later reveals that he’s actually 18 years old.

With the assistance of Jesse, Barry and team quickly go into action to find and save Harrison. In the end, the Flash was able to force Griffin to expend a massive amount of strength, causing the meta-human to die from old age.

Harrison, now understanding that Barry is the only one who can stop Zoom, agrees to help Barry reattain his speed via recreating the particle accelerator explosion. This week, we’ll see if Harrison will succeed in his mission. Here’s the official synopsis for “Rupture”:

"Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry (Grant Gustin) and Wells (Tom Cavanagh) come up with a plan to stop Zoom once and for all but it’s extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again but Joe (Jesse L. Martin) thinks he can handle it which puts the two men at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante’s (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb’s death. Iris (Candice Patton) decides she’s finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him."
