This week on Arrow, Oliver and Felicity find a way to stop Damien Darhk, and John goes after his brother, Andy.

“Canary Cry” saw each member of Team Arrow handle the death of Laurel Lance in their own way: Oliver remembered her as someone he could count on for support; Quentin sought out Nyssa’s help in reincarnating her; and Diggle went after Ruvé Adams for revenge.

Laurel’s death actually exposed how much the team dynamics have changed. Oliver, who killed during Season 1, was actually the one reminding everyone that Laurel stood for something more. John, enraged, became a one-man army looking to hurt anyone who was involved in her death.

In the end, to keep Laurel’s Black Canary legacy alive and untarnished, Oliver revealed that she was the masked hero. He also agreed with the rest of the team that the only way to stop Darhk is to kill him. This week, we’ll see how Oliver will go after this powerful foe. Here’s the official synopsis for “Genesis”:

"As Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) look for a magical solution to defeat Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough), a vengeance-driven Diggle (David Ramsey) gets a lead on Andy’s (guest star Eugene Byrd) whereabouts and heads off to confront his brother. Meanwhile, Alex (guest star Parker Young) takes Thea (Willa Holland) on a vacation that quickly turns into a nightmare."
