Captain America is admired by the young and the old because he’s strong and never wavers in doing what’s right. So when Agent Coulson (who’s now been promoted to Director Coulson on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD) met his childhood hero in the flesh, it was a classic speechless fan scenario.
Well, Coulson probably wished he truly remained speechless because what really came out of his mouth was quite awkward. Trying to nervously introduce himself, Coulson blurted out the words, “I watched you while you were sleeping.” We all cringed because we’ve all been in Coulson’s shoes.
