#2 – Infiltrating the Lumerian Star

From: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

When George Batroc and his pirates take control of the Lumerian Star mobile satellite launch platform, SHIELD sends in Captain America and the STRIKE unit. Via Quinjet, the team arrives over the Indian Ocean, and without a parachute, Captain America jumps from the aircraft.

After diving into the waters, Cap stealthily climbs aboard the ship. He quickly takes out multiple targets with a series of choke-outs, kicks, and the wielding of his shield. Running across the length of the ship, Cap barrels through a pirate, knocking him off of the ship’s platform.

When a pirate pulls out a knife, Cap overpowers him and throws the weapon at another pirate, impaling the enemy’s hand to a wall and preventing him from pulling the alarms. As the pirate screams out in pain, Cap does a swift kick to his face to silence him.

Leaping to a lower platform, Cap engages multiple aggressors quickly and efficiently. By incorporating his shield into his fighting style in creative ways, Cap is finished with the job in no time. However, one pirate takes advantage of a window of opportunity and holds a gun to Cap’s head. A parachuting Rumlow quickly takes the pirate out. Cap’s gratitude for the save is given a sarcastic reply of, “Yeah, you seemed pretty helpless without me.” Cap has definitely learned some new moves since World War II.
