Captain America is a man from a bygone era where everyone was expected to say their “please” and “thank yous.” So it’s not a surprise that the greatest patriot the world has ever known would react this way after hearing a curse word come out of the mouth of a fellow Avenger.
As Tony is about to make his assault on Strucker’s Hydra fortress, an unseen force field blocks his entrance. What else could the Billionaire with a Mouth say? Right after blurting out the other word for “caca,” Cap interjects Iron Man with “language.” From then on, the Avengers have their fun at Steve’s expense — basically calling him a prude.
The real payoff is at the end, when Captain America himself uses some “racy” language to thank Nick Fury for his save. Fury, always knowing the right thing to say, replies with, “Whoa ho … You kiss your mother with that mouth?”
