#22 – Tony Convinces Rhodey to Party

Tony Stark is one of the smoothest talkers in the world. The man can convince anyone that the day is going to be A-okay. As is the case when Tony needed to calm down best friend Jim Rhodes, a colonel in the United States Airforce.
Left standing for three hours at the the airport while waiting for an always late Tony, Rhodes is angered and frustrated at his buddy’s irresponsible nature. On the plane, Tony tries to calm Rhodes with his exuberant charm and sweet talk. Tony finally ends up suggesting the two have some hot saki. Rhodes’s initial answer is a vehement rejection of having fun on a business trip.
However, before he’s even aware of it, the uptight Colonel already has a full bottle in his hand, is semi-inebriated, and laying out his feelings to Tony. All this is complemented with scantily clad flight attendants dancing around the two men while an automated stripper pole extends from the floor.
