John was hot on the trail of Andy and was able to pursue him into an abandoned building. Against Lyla’s wishes, John went ahead with attempting to apprehend Andy. Little did John know, it was all a setup. When John “escaped,” it was Andy attempting to track John for the purposes of finding his family.
Leading the enemy to the mobile safehouse, John and Lyla formed a plan to battle their enemies. Lyla eventually came face-to-face with Damien, but was saved by Oliver, who learned a thing or two from a shaman recommended by Constantine. John, leading Andy away from the safehouse, was saved by Felicity. In the end, John was forced to kill Andy when he promised that he would never stop attacking his family.
The team later learned Darhk’s master plan–that is, to destroy the world and rebuild it. Thea, who was supposedly on vacation, realized that she was actually in a large dome that was built to look like a suburban paradise.
This week, we’ll see how Team Arrow will put a stop to Darmien Darhk’s plans for Genesis. Here’s the official synopsis for “Monument Point”:
"TOM AMANDES RETURNS AS NOAH KUTTLER – When Team Arrow learns what Damien Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) next move is Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) realizes she needs to ask her father, Noah Kuttler (guest star Tom Amandes), for help. Noah and Oliver (Stephen Amell) have a heart to heart talk that leaves Oliver rattled."
