Arrow Season 4, Episode 22 Synopsis: “Lost In The Flood”
By Steve Lam
Season Four’s penultimate episode of Arrow will have Oliver and Diggle searching out Damien’s underground ark to look for Thea. And Felicity and her father, Noah, must continue to work together.
On last week’s explosive (pun intended) episode “Monument Point,” Thea learned more about Damien Darhk’s Project Genesis from her father, Malcolm Merlyn. Darhk plans to annihilate most of the world’s population so that they can start over.

Meanwhile, on the surface, Darhk initiated Rubicon, prompting the start of a nuclear launch countdown. Felicity, unable to hack Rubicon herself, reaches out to her father, Noah, for help. Team Arrow found Noah and rescued him just in time from Hive soldiers.
In order to hack Rubicon, Felicity needed an experimental chip developed at Palmer Tech. Too bad for her, as she was just terminated by the board that day. The team then resorts to breaking in and stealing the chip. With security on their tail, the team rushed out of Palmer Tech with only 90% of the chip cloned.
After Noah completed the cloning, Team Arrow used a data center to initiate the hack on Rubicon. Felicity and Noah were able to stop all of the missiles sans one—which Felicity redirected to a small town, causing a death toll in the tens of thousands. There was no consoling Felicity even though her actions saved millions of lives.
This week, on the episode before the season finale, we’ll see how Team Arrow will go about stopping Darhk’s genocidal plans. Here’s the official synopsis for “Lost in the Flood”:
"Following the shocking events in the previous episode, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) race to rescue Thea (Willa Holland), while Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Curtis (Echo Kellum) and Noah (guest star Tom Amandes) join together to stop Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough)."
And, of course, the exciting promo for the episode:
Arrow airs on The CW on Wednesdays at 8:00PM EST.
