“Schism”—the Season Four Finale of Arrow will see Oliver and his team attempting to stop Damien Darhk and his magic.

The ending of Season Four is upon us. Team Arrow has been put through the ringer this season. Oliver and Felicity started out fine, but his unnecessary secret about his son soon tore the couple apart. And the biggest hit to the group—the death of Laurel. We’ll see how the team will muster enough strength to defeat their deadliest foe yet—Damien Darhk.

More from TV

In “Lost in the Flood,” Oliver and Diggle mounted a rescue mission to get Thea out of Darhk’s underground ark. They soon discovered that she was forced to take one of his “compliance vitamins”—making her attack Oliver and Diggle. Luckily, they got her to snap out of it.

Felicity and her father, Noah, continued to hack away at Rubicon, trying to prevent Darhk from destroying the world and bringing about Armageddon. The drama is turned up when Felicity was forced to reveal that she’s been working with the Green Arrow for years. Donna wasn’t all too thrilled with the fact that her own daughter had been lying to her.

On the Darhk side of things (see what I did there?), he’s brought in Felicity’s former criminal boyfriend to out-hack her. He doesn’t succeed, and she actually gives him a taste of his own medicine—in the form of overloaded servers and an powerful jolt that throws him across the room.

Another wrinkle to Darhk’s plan was Anarky—still on the loose in Darhk’s underground suburban stronghold. Anarky found Darhk’s wife, Ruve, and daughter in the ark’s central headquarters and held them hostage. Team Arrow arrived and quickly faced off with Anarky. However, a stray arrow started a chain reaction which destabilized the Dwarf Star alloy used to protect the haven. Oliver was able to save the daughter, but Ruve died when the ceiling caved in.

Darhk later went into an uncontrollable rage—promising to burn the world—when Merlyn informed him about the ark and the death of his wife. The final scene had Darhk paying a visit to someone very important to Oliver—Felicity.

Will Team Arrow be able to stop the magically powerful Darhk and save the world? Here’s the official synopsis for “Schism”:

"OLIVER TEAMS UP WITH A SURPRISING FORCE TO STOP DAMIEN DARHK – Oliver (Stephen Amell) teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and his magic once and for all."
