Being too much of a Joker? Try a Snickers!

Hunger can make you be lots of negative things. Irritable, cranky, mean, etc. Snickers current run ad campaign reminds us that hey, you aren’t really you when you are hungry. In fact, you might turn into an annoying, possibly homicidal clown prince of crime.

At least that’s the premise of this 2013 Snickers ad from the Middle East. Yeah, it’s four years old, but for some reason, it seems to be picking up viral steam now (and it’s actually in English so why this didn’t get noticed over here years ago is even more puzzling). Four friends are playing cards, but one of them is pretty hungry, and he seems to get just a little bit crazy when he’s hungry. And get pale skin and green hair as well. Granted, this seems to be more playful to the point of being annoying crazy rather than kill you with poison laughing gas and flowers that squirt acid crazy. But either way, if all the dude needs is a Snickers, get him a damn Snickers. Check out the ad below:

Ok, I suddenly want to see a whole series of DC-based Snickers ads like this. Like forget tired and cranky and crazy. Feeling vengeful Batman? Have a Snickers. Of two minds about everything Two-Face? Have a Snickers! Being an egotistical jackass Guy Gardener? Have A Snickers. Want to make the most depressing comic book film of all time and make children cry when they see Superman and Batman Zack Snyder? HAVE A GODDAMN SNICKERS. See, a candy bar with roasted peanuts, nougat, caramel and milk chocolate is the solution to every single problem out there, normal human being or comic book superhero.
