Warner Bros. TV In Full Force At SDCC

Warner Bros. will have many TV shows current and upcoming represented at SDCC

This year’s San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) will feature lots of the hottest comic book and pop culture comics and movies for the future, but of course Comic Book TV has become it’s own huge thing as well, and that’s especially true for DC, which dominates the airwaves with shows like Flash, Gotham, Lucifer, Supergirl and more (well ok they mostly dominate CW, but its still a big presence on TV).

And look for Warner Bros. presence on TV to only grow bigger as they are introducing a ton of new shows in the next month, many of which will be screened at special events at this year’s SDCC. In fact, Warner Bros. is bringing a whopping 21 shows to SDCC in some form, eight of them brand new shows we’ll see on TV sometime in the near future. All the full details of these events are at Collider, but I wanted to focus on the shows most relevant to this site (i.e. anything involving Batman or possibly involving Batman or any of his various partners and sidekicks).

Firstly, Wednesday, June 20th, as part of a 4-hour screening room special, attendees will get to see the pilots of (among other shows) new NBC DC comedy Powerless, the animated cartoon series Justice League Action and a brand new episode of Teen Titans Go!

This will be followed up on Thursday with video presentations and Q&A sessions for both Justice League Action and Teen Titans Go. Friday will have a Powerless video presentation and Q&A and then Gotham will also have it’s own video presentation and Q&A Saturday.

Next: Suicide Squad Is Breaking Into SDCC

Of course, that is just a few of the many DC TV shows being represented at this year’s SDCC. I’m super excited to learn about these shows but also Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow as well as iZombie and others. Between this and the huge presence of Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League this year looks like a year that Warner Bros. will dominate San Diego Comic Con, which runs from July 20-24th.
