Batman v Superman: Batman Kills How Many?

Batman didn’t always start out as a guy with an aversion to guns or killing people. He used guns back in his very early days, but that was quickly changed and for 70+ years he has been known as a guy who doesn’t use guns and at least tries really, really hard not to kill anybody. This is reflected in the various cartoons, TV shows and video games over the years, but historically Batman on film has had a little less of a problem killing guys. In pretty much every Batman movie there are at least a few fatalities that Batman has directly caused.
But in Batman v Superman, Batman not only seems to have little issue murdering guys, but also using guns to murder guys. And that combination makes him the most murdery movie Batman of them all, racking up more than any single Batman film and more than several combined. No matter how you slice it in, in the movies, Batman has no issue killing guys. But in Batman v Superman, he turns it up one hell of a notch, and honestly with the various improvements to his brand new Batmobile in Justice League, it doesn’t seem like Batman is changing his murderous ways anytime soon.
Honestly, of all the issues with Batman v Superman, Batman’s body count is way down on my list. But at the same time, if you are wanting to really get as close to the comics as possible, then yeah Batman is a guy who does not use guns and at least tries real damn hard not to kill anybody, even in the Dark Knight Returns, which Batman v Superman draws so heavily from. It’s not realistic or grounded or whatever? Who cares, it’s a movie, and a comic book movie at that, you can get away with Batman not killing anybody.
