How the mighty have fallen. What was once a fantastic show, has now become merely an afterthought, sometimes even being used as background noise.

More from TV

Arrow is the entire reason why The Flash and Daredevil shows exist today. If not for Arrow, it’s doubtful that any of the other superhero shows would have even been brought to the drawing board. Since the beginning of Season 3, not only have the ratings been dragged down, but also the viewership as well. For many people, myself included,Sseasons 1 and 2 were amazing, with Deathstroke as a fantastic villain in the latter, and Oliver Queen attempting to rebuild his image from the ground-up in the former.

But, when you get to Seasons 3 and 4, it does a full 180, complete with inconsistent writing, frustrating characters, lack of interesting storylines, and unoriginal, over-the-top threats that all result in the two seasons being downright snooze fests. It dug a hole too deep, and now, it seems as though it’s unable to climb out of it.

Seriously, you might as well use the episodes as bedtime stories, because that’s how dull they are. Anyway, before I lose all control of my hands in an angry, hate-filled rant, I’m going to tell you what the directors and producers need to do so that it can get back to what it once was.
