Mark Hamill Reads From The Killing Joke Movie
Mark Hamill reads a few lines from the soon to be released Killing Joke movie during Star Wars Celebration
Star Wars Celebration is going on right now and for the next couple of days, so you can imagine nearly all the news in the nerdsphere is going to be focused around that and things like the new Rogue One Trailer. Mark Hamill is there talking about the upcoming Episode VIII. But of course, Luke Skywalker is not the only iconic role Mark Hamill is known for. For over two decades, he’s been the definitive voice of Batman’s #1 nemesis, The Joker in just about every animated TV show, movie and video game that has been made, so he has a large following of those fans as well.
And while you’d think Mark Hamill and really everyone else at Star Wars Celebration would be understandably focused on well…. Star Wars. But during a fan event with Mark Hamill, one fan did mention he was very much looking forward to the Killing Joke Movie, and Mark Hamill took a few minutes to talk about it and read a few lines he just happened to have on his phone from the film:
Next: Mark Hamill Not Done With Joker
Mark Hamill won’t actually be at San Diego Comic Con next week to promote The Killing Joke, so it’s nice he gave it a couple minutes here. And despite Hamill mentioning being done with the Joker in the clip, he actually did recently state on Twitter he wasn’t done with the role yet so there will be future performances of him doing that iconic Joker voice. Star Wars Celebration is going on this weekend. The Killing Joke will have it’s world premiere during San Diego Comic Con next week, and then it will be out digitally July 26th and on Blu-Ray and DVD August 2nd.
