Comic-Con 2016: 26 Things We Hope To See

#21 – DCEU: Official Title and Premise of Batman Solo Film

We’ve been hearing about a Batman solo film or films for a while now. Say what you want about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but Ben Affleck proved both detractors and critics wrong with his performance as Bruce Wayne / Batman.

Unrelenting and menacing, Affleck’s Batman jumped straight out of the comics. Okay, I’ll admit, the film did go a bit too far with Batman actually killing his enemies. But it was one hell of an experience to see Batman unleash the full force of his fighting skills and arsenal.

With those things in mind, fans are definitely looking forward to a Batman solo film. Both Warner Bros. and Affleck have confirmed plans for it. However, fans are still in the dark as to what the premise will be let alone the title. I say premise because a story might be a bit too detailed at this stage. And synopses are usually revealed half a year before the actual release of the film.

So let’s hope that Warner Bros. will be announcing both the title and premise for Batman’s newest rebooted solo outing.
